About this deal

Let’s start with creating chocolate spheres: let’s delve into the characteristics of each ingredient – dark chocolate, white chocolate, coconut oil and Christmas sprinkles– to explore how they contribute to the overall charm of these festive treats. Once the Baileys hot chocolate bombs are ready, time to decorate: melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the top, then add the Christmas sprinkles and refrigerate again until solid. Remove the Bailey’s Ganache from the fridge and use a cookie scoop to portion into 1 1/2″ sized balls.

If you don't want to use coarse sugar on top, you can use crushed candy canes or other candies or sprinkles. Measure 1 Tablespoon of the mocha hot cocoa mix into half of the chocolate spheres. Add a Bailey's truffle to the center of the sphere and then surround with a few mini marshmallows, if desired. More adult hot chocolate recipes? Luxury hot chocolate bombes:

Place the sphere with the melted edges on top of the ganache-filled sphere, and allow the chocolate to set. Repeat until you have six hot cocoa bombs. Place molds in the fridge for 10 minutes. Pop the boozy chocolate bombs out of the silicone mold and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This recipe is extremely simple: whisk up some homemade hot chocolate and add Baileys! But here are a few things to note in the process:

Quality Matters: The health benefits are most prominent in high-quality dark chocolate with a high cocoa content. Cheaper and highly processed chocolate may not offer the same advantages.

Say hello to the hot chocolate bombe - a super-delicious chocolate ball filled with mini marshmallows. Place a hot choc bombe into a mug and pour over steaming milk for an explosion of fabulousness! Drinking chocolate doesn't get any easier or tastier than this. Hot chocolate bombes are available to buy in a variety of flavours and make great gifts any time of the year. They are super popular at Christmas and often sell out well in advance of the big day. You want a good-quality chocolate that contains cocoa butter to allow it to temper properly. Chocolate chips do not work for this recipe because they have added ingredients that prevent them from melting. Heart Health: Some studies suggest that moderate consumption of dark chocolate may have cardiovascular benefits, such as improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure;

Pipe melted chocolate: Use leftover melted chocolate. Add to a piping bag or small Ziploc bag. Cut a small hole at the end of the piping bag (or one corner of the Ziploc bag). Squeeze chocolate around the rim of the bottom sphere and simply place the other sphere on top. Using your finger, smooth the chocolate out. (leave as is or add sprinkles or crushed candies) Place a Bailey's hot chocolate bombe into a mug and slowly pour over steaming milk. Watch in amazement as the Bailey's chocolate melts to reveal the mini marshmallows inside. Drinking chocolate doesn’t get any better (or easier) than this!

Drizzle remaining melted chocolate over the hot chocolate bombs and sprinkle with green sugar crystals.
